- A whimsical sideways swimming pool is headed to Rockefeller Center. The installation is called Van Gogh’s Ear, by Scandinavian artists Elmgreen & Dragset, whose work includes a rocking horse in London’s Trafalgar Square; the Prada Marfa store/sculpture in Marfa, Texas; and a NYC subway station in the basement of the Bohen Foundation.
April 17th-30th
- Head over to Brookfield Place, 230 Vesey Street to view Intrude, an instillation by artist Amanda Parer. Sculptural rabbits, each sewn in white nylon, scaling over two stories in height, with one approximately 39 feet high and the other 39 feet long. Internally lit, they will look stunning at night.
